1) Why did you write PUSHED?

Well its a mixture of truth and fiction. The truth always finds a way out. It needed to be released from the walls of my computer.

Knowing when to leave. When to listen to your gut instinct and staying in tune with your spirituality.

3) Who is this book for?

Men, women, young and old. Anyone wanting a great, character driven story to read.

4) There are some dark things going on in the book?

No. Not really some dark and some light. Drugs, alcohol, college life, family, and friendships are apart of everyone’s life.

5) Tell us about yourself?

I’m me. Young, college but entrepreneurial bound person who is currently traveling and enjoying life.

6) Do you feel this store is told from a minority point of view?

No, but most of the characters come from a variety of backgrounds. So you encounter and discover some American Indian themes and issues with many other cultural influences.

7) Big lessons you learned while writing this book or in life?

Finish everything you start. You will feel better for it. Enjoy your friends and family because sometimes they are only around for a season instead of a lifetime.

8) Where can folks or fans find you lately?

Traveling, a book tour, class, a powwow, my coffee shop or among the ones I love.

9) Since you say this book is a mix of truth and fiction any friends or ex-friends mad?

Well my true friends aren’t mad about my passion. One of my ex-friends is the one who encouraged me to write.

10) How did your “ex-friend” encourage you to write?

By telling me “if you are a writer, then write.”

Pushed: The Memoir of a Disenchanted Optimist, is a great read for summer, fall, winter, with coffee, donuts, or tea. And a hint true optimist never stay disenchanted for long.
